Provence camp-site at the bottom of Ventoux Mount beside Luberon

Villes-sur-Auzon located in the south of France, in the Vaucluse in Provence, south of the mountain, Mont Ventoux on the road D 942 between Carpentras and Sault. The campsite Les Verguettes (with pool) is located in a park of 1.5 hectares with trees of the traditional Provence: olive, mulberry, pine and cypress trees, interspersed with flowering oleander and broom, and of course, lavender and rosemary.

Within one hour's drive from many traditional towns: Vaison-la-Romaine, Orange, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Avignon, Isle sur la Sorgue, Apt or remarkable villages in beautiful settings, for example: Brant Venasque, or Gordes in the Luberon mountains, villages perched Ménerbes and Lacoste.

Between mountain regions of Mont Ventoux and the Luberon, the natural beauties are discovering the gorges Nesque, the lavender fields of Sault, the cedar forest in the Luberon, the source at Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, the Abbey Senanque or mountains Dentelles de Montmirail.

Right next to the campsite you can walk in the ocher, a former mining area, in a hilly forest area, on foot or by mountain bike. Cyclists are familiar with the area around the hard drive of Mont Ventoux in Provence.
The residents of the Provence, with provencal traditions important, are happy to present their products.
Provencal cuisine with its combination of herbs and wine take you back in the area long sunny.
